EUCDW Board Meeting

On 02 July 2015, EUCDW held its second Board meeting of 2015 in Spain.

The main focus of the meeting was the economic and social situation in Spain, as well as the outcome of the regional and local elections, after reports by EUCDW Vice-President Gregorio Gonzalez Roldan and C.E.A.T. president Jesus Casado.

The discussion continued with recent developments in Greece, following an introduction by President Elmar Brok.

After the presentation and discussion of the outlook on legislative reports in the European Parliament for the second half of 2015, the EUCDW Board set out the political strategy for the upcoming discussions on the single member limited-liability private companies (SUP), the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), the long-term unemployment recommendation and the Labour Mobility Package.

The Board also approved the EUCDW activity report of 2014 and approved the creation of a new EUCDW website.
